I am linking up to Ms. Cheri at It's So Very Cheri for Its So Very Renovated. We are in an ongoing remodel battle in our home, I say battle because we get one thing finished and 2 more pop up, never ending but very rewarding. We had 2 x 4 scraps laying around. As I mention below, my cousin recently got engaged. Her tastes are totally rustic. I didnt even sand the 2 x 4, wanted it rough and tough. Added a little stain, let it dry, applied my vinyl and then went back and scrunched up a plastic baggy and added more stain for a more aged look. So anybody on the fence about how much they will use their Cricut, I say go for it!
Have I mentioned how much I am really enjoying my Cricut. The vinyl cutting was easy to learn, but the weeding (pulling of the parts not needed) a little more challenging especially if they are little teeny weenie pieces! My cousin recently got engaged so I created a little something for them. I believe I got the design from The Scrapping Table, have to get back with you on that one. Have a great day!
Edited To Add:Here is the link for the design. Great resource for beginning Cricuters.
