What do you do when you are snowed in for 3 months, well I finally stopped proscrastinating and finished my drapes, plus made a removeable table skirt. I attached it with Velcro for when I get tired of it. I even box pleated the skirt, wow I am even impressing myself!!! I also recovered 6 chairs shown in the picture. Of course no before pics of the yellow/gold faded fabric.
The curtain rods and rings I want added up to 300 dollars, so in the mean time I just put these up with PVC pipe and electrical conduit I spray painted. Let me tell you what a challenge that was with -0 degree weather outside!!! When it warms up I plan on sprucing them up and adding finials.
Great skirt and drapes! You made good use of your winter, all that snow probably made you know how the pioneers felt during the winter months. Lezlee

ReplyDeleteWow, it's hard to imagine you still have snow when we have trees in bloom here! I was looking back over your previous posts (first time visitor) but I don't see pics of snow. I love to see it but wouldn't want it in March. Your curtains and table cover look really pretty :)
