Party Time - Cloche Style

Ok ladies.  It is time to party with Ms. Marty over at A Stroll Thru Life.  She was kind enough to invite me a while back, but time is going so fast, I almost forgot!  After I stumbled onto my first linky party in blogland, I kept noticing cloches everywhere.  Thinking to myself, what the heck is a cloche anyway?  So I did what I do best, Googled it.  Basically it is a French word for bell.  See gals you are not only inspiring me but teaching me things too!!!

I have 3 cloches, actually 2-1/2 because it is broken, but I am still using it.  My favorite one is a cheese dome from a thrift store and then I added a piece from a broken glass ornament.  I love it!!

Above is the broken one, just dont look to close and you wont even notice!  Couldnt find anything cute to put in it, so I just added some ribbon.

  2. Thanks for sharing your cloches. And you can't tell from the photo that the one is broken. And ribbon still looks fabulous under glass. I think everything does. Thanks for sharing your cloches.

  4. Hi Gina sweetie...
I so love your share with the blue and white colors. Ocean and clean colors. So beautiful. I love the idea of the ribbon in the one cloche. It looks really pretty, and I love the simplicity of it. It would really pop in the middle of a table for a center piece.

Thanks for sharing today. I have signed up to follow you. I can't wait to see what you share next. Please pop over and say hi. Please sign up to follow my blog as well.

    Country hugs sweetie...Sherry

  5. Your cloches are just gorgeous. I love the blue and white and the shapes of your domes are stunning. Now who would have ever thought that some ribbon would be so beautiful in an apothecary jar, but it is just gorgeous. What a fabulous idea. Thanks so much for joining the party. This is just lovely. Hugs, Marty

  8. Gina, I just learned something new from you and I am very excited to use it. Is it blue, tulle or organza on your table under your cloche? It looks just dreamy. What a fabulous idea! That cheese dome is beautiful.
I have had such a lovely visit!
