Welcome to my blog. I am so excited for this month's bloghop. Our challenge was to create something that had a spring feel. I loooove spring colors, pastels all the way. I wanted to get a start on my Easter projects. I am finally learning to get started early, that way I am not frantically trying to finish up projects the night before. I searched through my stamps looking for an Easter egg, all I had was a teeny one from PTI. I recently purchased the oval nestabilities and light bulb, just decorate the oval and it all came together. My little "egg box" is actually the box from Lauren's Timeless Template stocking stuffer. I had to make the bottom of the box 2 inches and cut down the sides I think an inch on each side to make it fit the egg. I found this super cute carrot "egg" at the Dollar Store. I added some Starburst jelly beans, but I don't think you can see them. They are soo good. We have managed to eat quite a few already.
I really had fun making this project, it didn't stress me out!! I know this shouldn't give me stress, but you would be surprised what gives me stress. I am so happy with how all the colors just compliment each other, thanks Papertrey for such fun colors. Can't wait to drool over everybody's creations tonight. Enjoy the HOP.
