Bloghop inspired

Wow, this month's bloghop got me going!!! Lauren's Timeless Templates excite me each month, I love coordinating gift packaging. When I was a kid I saved every kind of bag that things came in, must have been a sign of things to come! After the bloghop, I decided to order Lauren's From The Desk Of template because of all the great projects out there. It went together really fast. I put this whole project together in less than an hour.

Raspberry Fizz is one of my favorite Papertrey colors. I had the cards already made from Friends to the End set. I made the notepad with Raspberry Fizz Mixx paper and added a stamped image from the Life set and will add a couple votive candles and it looks like a million bucks!! Thanks Lauren for your fabulous talent.

I haven't been able to blog much lately. I have a business with one of my friends called, We Do Windows, custom window treatments, and luckily we have been really busy. Busy means more $$, which means more stamping products, yeah!!!

On top of that, my friend talked me into joining her team at Entertaining at Home. I looove their products also. All of their products look like they were meant for my home. I have my first party this week so am trying to finalize my "presentation." My first party was my "launch" party and I just had to watch and have fun. I earned some awesome things including a set of fabulous pots and pans, how awesome is that.
On top of my youngest still sick now with double ear infection, craaazy week. Thanks for taking a peek.

Template Love - Bloghop

I have been MIA on blogworld. Have been really busy and no stamping time, bummer. My participation tonight is not complete, but I figured I would share anyway. I have a 1-year-old with Hand, Foot and Mouth and she is miserable. Feel so bad for her. My oldest daughter decided to make paper doll clothes out of my one sheet wonder to go with this set. Who am I to stiffle her creativity!!

Our challenge was to use one of Lauren Meader's fabulous Timeless Timeplates. I have to admit that each month they are what I wait for. She never ceases to amaze me.

The template I used is the Takealong Tote. I used Raspberry Fizz, Lemon Tart and white cardstock. Beautiful blooms in pixie pink and lemon tart ink. I used my Cuddlebug to emboss on the outer pocket. I had it all planned to get some lemon drops and put them in a nicely decorated bag to put in the pocket and a card set, but didn't happen, oh well.

I had even purchased a faux Gerber daisy to add to this set for a gift. At least I have a good start on a gift set if nothing else. Thanks for stopping by. PTI bloghops are the most fun!!!

Happy Easter baskets

Wishing everyone a Happy Easter. Just wanted to share the baskets my mom made for my girls. I thought they turned out cute.

How did it get to be Easter anyway?????

I am hoping the Easter bunny doesn't bring too much chocolate!!!

Beautiful blooms

This a card made out of leftovers from a one-sheet-wonder of beautiful blooms in melon berry, aqua mist and lemon tart, and polka dot basics. I can't say enough how much I love PTI and their satin ribbon. Could it have anything to do with the fact that I used to have a blankie with a "soften" on it that I took everywhere? Perhaps. At any rate it is just gorgeous. Finally got my new camera, haven't had a chance to read through the manual, but I took this on the most gloomy day and it still turned out decent.

Bad blogger with excuse

Yes, bad blogger here. Just wanted to show you why I have been MIA. Our bedroom is another project we have been working. First it started with 5 layers of wallpaper being taken off, drywall and sanding (still have dust everywhere), then priming, and painting. I made these roman shades for our bedroom. In this picture, I had just put them up, haven't had a chance to steam them, but needed privacy bad. I'll get a picture when they look better and the window seat is finished. We are planning on making a lid for the window seat and using it for extra storage, can't wait, we all need extra storage right? I am in looove with this fabric. I have a coordinating fabric for the top, haven't gotten to it yet, hopefully next. What do you think?
